Yes, if you live in International House, New Ressies, Old Ressies, University Village, College House or a 1 Bedroom Apartment. But, if you live in the 5 bedroom apartments, either single or dual occupancy you will be required to move into either International House or University Village for the duration of your stay in the Summer Vacation. If you live in the 2 bedroom apartments, you may be permitted to stay in your room, on a case-by-case basis.

A room in the Village for the Summer Vacation costs (inclusive of utility fees):

• 1 bedroom apartment: $345 per week
• 2 bedroom apartment: $258 per week
• College House: $260 per week
• International House: $190 per week
• New Ressies: $182 per week
• Old Ressies: $169 per week
• University Village: $157 per week

If you are returning to the Village in 2012, you can stay for a minimum of 1 week or a maximum of 6 weeks. The full summer period is 12th December 2011 until 22nd January 2012.

If you are not returning to the Village in 2012, refer to the below point.

That’s ok, you can stay in the Village for the Summer Vacation, but if you are not returning in 2012 you can only stay for a minimum of 1 week or a maximum of 5 weeks – the latest date being the 15th January 2012.

You apply for Summer Vacation the same way as applying for accommodation in 2012. Log onto the portal and complete the application for either the Summer Vacation (Full Period) or the Summer Vacation (Partial Period). Follow the steps and submit your request.

Once your application has been received, you will be sent an offer of summer accommodation. This will be due for return on a specified date in order to secure your room for the duration of your stay.

If you have requested the term called ‘Summer Vacation (Partial Period), you will be contacted in September for the dates when you would like to stay. After which an offer will be made for the weeks you require.
