At University of Canberra Village, we are dedicated to minimising our environmental footprint, which in turn, reduces costs for residents.
The New Apartments residential area includes environmentally sustainable initiatives such as:
- Grey water recycling in laundries
- Solar hot water panels
- Natural lighting and low energy fixtures
- Cross ventilation and superior thermal performance to remove the need for airconditioning
When refurbishing existing apartments, we incorporate energy and water efficient features where possible.
Throughout the year, we will also be running recycling programs and workshops on reducing our environmental impact. Every little bit helps!
